Over the last few months, I’ve struggled with some of the potential changes that might happen in my life. As I mentioned before, I’ve been much more relaxed and able to go with the flow since we moved to North Carolina. However, dealing with the potential career change that Patrick might have made, which would have been a huge lifestyle and location change, was very difficult for me to deal with at times.
Last week was definitely one of those times, but then I read this post by my friend Melanie about how important it is to live in the moment and realize that things usually work out the way that they do for a reason (I also owe her credit for the picture on the left). It was something that I need to keep in mind. I have a lot to be thankful for and instead of worrying about the future, I have to realize that everything will work out the way it’s meant to, even if I can’t see that right now.
Here are some of the things that I’m happy about that are going on right now in my life:
-I’m really happy to be pregnant. I have PCOS, which can make it difficult for some women to get pregnant, so I’m relieved that it happened relatively quickly for me.
-I’m thankful for all of my wonderful friends and family. You all mean the world to me!
-I’m glad that I have a flexible work schedule and that Patrick and I are able to spend so much time together right now. I’m also happy that we’re both employed and are financially stable.
In conclusion, I’m going to try to focus on all of the things that are great in my life right now while still remaining open to what could happen in the future. I have a lot to be happy about!
